Candice Maphet & Suzy Mahoney
Suzy Mahoney, M.S. ED and Candice Maphet, B.S. CIS, friends and
parents, each with two young children, are the minds behind
Smart-Thinkin'. Both women bring amazing creativity and education
experience to the creation of our camps.
Suzy Mahoney is a former middle school, high school and college teacher
and is the founder of Tutor 180 Tutoring Center. She has a masters
degree in education and over 15 years experience teaching children.
Candice Maphet has a bachelor's degree in computer information
systems and had been a tutor for several years with Tutor 180 Tutoring
Center where she quickly became one of the most requested tutors
among students. She has served as President of Summit Christian
Academy's PTO, President of The Far Northwest Austin Preschool Mothers
Club, and a volunteers as a leader in AWANA Clubs for children. She is an
active member of her church and is always focused on the success of
children.
Smart-Thinkin' started offering summer camps in the summer of 2006 and
operates in the facilities of Tutor 180 Tutoring Center at 1001 Cypress
Creek Rd. #401 Cedar Park, TX 78613.
